RYAN M. LUÉVANO

I worked with Ryan on a musical project in the Fall of 2011; He was the writer, producer and director of a project, which was a great success. Ryan is very organized, creative and dedicated, and I would highly recommend him as a conductor/producer of any musical event.

Ryan provided timely, detail-oriented, and personable service as music copyist for my academic paper. I was very satisfied with the results and it was a pleasure working with him.

Ryan is an extremely talented composer, musician, and writer. I worked for Ryan as his lead in “Experience Magic,” a musical that he wrote, composed, directed and musically directed on his own. Together, with his co-producer, Jeff Black, they managed to market the show and bring in large crowds for our performances. Working for Ryan was wonderful. He was organized, timely, efficient, uplifting, and motivating, and there is no doubt in my mind, that with his business sense and creative talents, he will be a strong player in the music/theater industries.

Music director Ryan Luevano has taught non-singers how to sing, and worked with an orchestra who until last Thursday hasn’t rehearsed with the cast.

I had the pleasure of working with Ryan on Burbank Community Theater’s 2013 production Annie. I performed as principal trumpet in the orchestra under Ryan’s musical direction and found him to be an outstanding conductor. He was always well-prepared, used rehearsal time efficiently, communicated clearly to the orchestra what he wanted, and was very supportive of the cast. I was very impressed with how well our performances came off, especially considering how little rehearsal time we had.

Ryan is an experienced orchestrator who works quickly and follows directions carefully. He comes up with creative and innovative solutions to a variety of tasks. He’s especially good with writing for drums and percussion. Ryan is very amenable to comments and will gladly make changes. I’m sure that Ryan’s skill will grow as he continues to develop his orchestration chops.

Ryan was terrific as MD and Conductor for Burbank Community Theater’s production of ANNIE. My daughter played the part of Annie and was delighted to have the opportunity to work with Ryan, he was always on time, prepared, supportive and did a wonderful job.
